I didn't mean to imply you bashed shorters. What I was saying to Chistopher was that if I had suggested another stategy vs. a buy/hold strategy with EDIG, I would have been attacked as a short. My alias doesn't help matters either.

The points Christopher made that I agreed with were; closing a short position does not necessarily endorse/validate a stock's value at that price. It can simply mean you have identified a better opportunity. Another point he made was; if one weren't bound by a buy/hold methodology perhaps they could have sold at a much higher level and repurchased shares at a much lower cost.

Lenny, you are absolutely correct though, there is more then one way to skin a cat. I wish you well with whatever strategy you use.
