OLB- Ahmed, the On Line Brokers are a sector out of favor. Yes the numbers are phenomenal, but the profits ain't. EGRP, AMTD, and DIR are all in the pits chart wise, even with tons of new accounts and growing assets. Look at what they are spending to acquire these accounts, the AMTD advertisements in particular, the free first month commissions, EGRP is giving $75 or 100 just to open an acct. And a lot of accts are being opened by people who will buy a few stocks, and then leave the accounts alone, doing a few trades a year. And the firms will have to continue to send out statements everymonth, hold the positions, send out dividend checks, etc. Even NITE, which reported excellent earnings, is in the real duldrums. The market and charts are telling us something: this is not a sector in favor. Don't fight the tape - you'll lose every time. jmho. larry
