Jgoren, I clearly remember Dr. J said that they would not participate in the IPR pool. He said that the royalty rate for WCDMA is the same as for CDMA. At the same time he said that the rate for one patent is the same as for all patents. Unless he has changed his policy, that tells me that Q's royalty percentage will not change when and if W-CDMA comes to be. Of course, the rest of the IPR holders are going to cry loudly.
