Once we get past the initial 'basic configuration' to get G* up and running, I see that all sorts of unique terminals will be made available. Just as we all have different ideas and needs regarding the ideal portable computer or PDA, G* terminals and phones will be available in various configurations. In some ways I like the all in one configuration because I don't have to decide how to configure my terminal every time I pick it up to take with me. The price I pay is a bit more weight and bulk. Motorola IRID phones were shipped with lots of 'dongels' to configure them as required. This makes packing for a trip more like a check list for travel to the moon. I prefer the all in one package for now.
