Steve, as far as the Puritan church, and the Greek Bible, are concerned, the source was Brian Valentine,AKA EOG, himself, in posts he made some time ago. The dictionary indicates that the Puritan church branched off from the Calvinist church in Geneva, Switzerland, and initiated the concept of the "elect". Brian also said that he was not satisfied with any of the churches he had visited, so he started his own. I may have added a couple of remarks representing my own opinion but, that is the story of the gist of my post. ~;=;o --haqi
