I had a hunch that the QCOM could be beneficial to Zi. I asked Karen and this is the response i received.

Hi Darleen. Actually, your question really speaks more to marketing
direction than to technology. Currently, there is no one producing a
CDMA handset in China, given recent events that may change.

Some of Zi's licensees are looking at developing CDMA technology and
they will need some type of input system. There is no reason why Zi's
technology can't work on a CDMA handset. Zi understands the market and
the pace of change as we have offices in both Beijing and Hong Kong.
The effect of a switch to a new network system in Asia would mean
manufacturers need to begin producing different products and Zi will be
targeting those companies.

Warm regards,
Karen
