o Motherboard listings have gone up by 8% - mostly due to ASUS.
 
o Asus listings are up by about a whopping 36% this week.
  The lowest price of these boards remained almost unchanged.
  There must be a pretty good demand for their boards allowing
  them to maintain stable prices even at increased supply.

o I expected some new motherboards release this month, but to my
   disappointment, there were none. I think it was because of the
   late relase of VIA's KX133 chipset. By the by, KX133 technical
   documents in PDF format are up on their web site.

Clearly this is artificial. CPU prices don't go up. Looks like the PIII black market situation has gotten worse since you last posted. Unless the underlying demand is real (i.e., no rampant double bookings) we may be headed for a rocky Q2.

It looks like all of the chips are declining in prices, except Pentium 500 which is jumping all over the place.

Maybe you should something other than the lowest price, since a lot of the online dealers use the PCU as a loss leader (it seems).

Maybe what would make sense would be to let;s say throw out the lowest 10% and use the lowest price of the remaining chips.

Great table of info. Very appreciate your effort.

I think it's fairly obvious that 600/650 is the sweet spot in this Q and 700 will be the sweet spot in the next Q. Then factor in the K6-2 550/600 in a few weeks. AMD does have a wonderful portfolio of CPU products with sufficient capabilities. Man, this turn-around is much better than my expectation.

As a site for the AMD info you, a great idea. I like AMDROID. I think it will be referenced often once it's up:)
