The good thing is that using the guideline the position now has a Breakeven Stop. It was entered at 1396 and yesterday's High was 1421.

The Stop on the system itself is still below breakeven, at 1387.49

So my hesitation about holding overnight is somewhat neutralized. Next I have to figure out how to daytrade and hold term positions like this at the same time. Been thinking about using several E-Minis on the term position while I daytrade the SPxx, versus just adding extra contracts and then taking them away, versus probably the optimal alternative which is to merely open another account and use one for daytrading and the other for term positions.

These trades come up so infrequently that it's not a front burner issue, but the other edge to opening a second account is that it would allow room to dabble in other markets. Who knows, perhaps the system is transportable.
