Paul,

Try this from J And R - "HEWLETT-PACKARD Pavilion 9690C PC

You know I don't like the high end. I will probably go with Coppermine 500 to 600 systems, with BX chipset, and PC-100. And if I buy the whole systems (as opposed to building them myself), I have to wait until you can get systems with Windows 2000 preloaded.

One thing I was wondering, that you may have the answer for is the performance of 810e chipset. Since these systems are for business, the 3d speed is irrelevant (though 4MB of memory is troubling). How does the chipset perform compared to BX or VIA on non-graphics related benchmarks?

One thing I could consider is adding Matrox G200 PCI card to a 810e system if the graphics chip could be disabled.

Another preference is the NLX for most of these systems.
