more on TBonds -- Bloomberg interview with Tony Crescenzi

two weeks ago saw the largest TBond Futures short position in history from the speculator group
these people make up non-institutional folks

TBond Futures also had a record peak in option puts

these huge contract and option positions have already begun to unwind, fueling bond rally last week and this week
expect it to continue to unwind tomorrow and a few more days after the Fed's 25bp hike

TonyC claims the inversion of 10yr yield over 30yr yield should continue until the entire tightening process ends in a few months... still have a phenomenon whereby govt bonds are competing unsuccessfully for capital with stocks... to some extent govt bonds are losing versus corporate bonds

I know you believe bonds are somewhat irrelevant to the future growth of Qualcomm
I concur longterm
but we agree that bonds provide a shorterm environmt backdrop
now it represents a tide coming in
on top of that, USdollar is gaining versus Euro and JYen

getting to watch live the NazFutures
it was minus 23, now minus 15
suspect NazFutures is MUCH thinner than S&P or Dow

couldnt sleep, Jim

re: you have a sick demented mind, and I respect that.

Remember: "A mind is a terrible thing" (to twist a phrase).
