Yes, I'm bearish over the short term, next 6 weeks or so. With rates rising, the dollar recently breaking out to new multi year highs, how can one be bullish on Gold here? It's a very difficult environment for Gold and its shares.

Once the Fed stops raising rates and the economy slows, a rally will ensue. It would be better for Gold, of course, if the stock market tanked, driving down the dollar, and the economy went into a recession.
