MJ, I also suspect this is a "trashing job", as you suggested, by Christies. I think it could be from jealousy over Sotheby's recently launched Internet money-making machine [the timing of this leads me to suspect that], plus the ANAL -ists "pliing on" and exploiting the situation to their own advantage, based upon the uncertainty associated with the **yet-to-be-proved** price-fixing accusations.

So yes, FWIW, I believe Sotheby's is a definite buy and hold a the current $19-$20 level, or even higher. I personally bought more BID at 18 9/16 the other day.

Again, this is IMO, and FWIW.
