ATI mobile graphics chip selected for new Toshiba Satellite notebook PCs

First design win for ATI mobile graphics with
Toshiba, the world's largest notebook manufacturer

TORONTO, Feb. 2 /CNW/ - ATI Technologies Inc. (TSE:ATY, NASDAQ:ATYT)
announced today that the Computer Systems Group of Toshiba America Information
Systems Inc. has chosen the RAGE(TM) LT PRO mobile graphics accelerator for
the Satellite(R) 1605CDS and 1625CDT notebook PCs.
This is the first ATI design win with the Toshiba line of notebook PCs,
and further confirms ATI's position as the leading mobile graphics vendor. ATI
now supplies mobile graphics to all 10 of the world's top notebook
manufacturers.
The ATI RAGE LT PRO is matched in the new Toshiba Satellite notebook PCs,
designed for value-conscious SOHO customers and students, with an AMD(TM) K6-2
475MHz processor in the Satellite 1625CDT, and an AMD K6-2 450MHz processor in
the Satellite 1605CDS.
