Bill,

The other day I saw Gore at this "town hall" and the
audience cut him no slack. One guy asked "How can we
trust you after all the illegal campaign contributions
you took in 1996?" Gore's reply: "I made a mistake!"
If thats his story and he is stickin to it, its going
to be a long summer for the old boy.

It's that Bush turns off so many people. McCain seems like a maverick, independent thinker--Bush seems to be a pre-packaged product of a political machine.
