Robert,

"Almighty God who is eternal and is not stranded in time like us, certainly chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world. Scripture clearly states this fact. He indeed saw the decision I would make after being born, but to think I made this decision before being born is absolutely ridiculous, how can I make a decision not having a mind or body which would influence these choices. I am a created being, that is I had a beginning and I could never make choices with out the means of a human body."

First of all, by this statement, you limit God's ability. I hope you can see that! And to say it is ridiculous, and a fairy tale and such, that is bold. If I am right, and I think I am, you mock God with your statements. It's your business, not mine. But I thought I would point that out!

"Where in scripture did you ever come up with such an idea?"

First of all, I have come up with it, starting with a lot of prayer and inspiration. Through this vehicle, God points me to the following verses. My point is not in one verse, but in many......

I'll give you a bunch, but by leading off with this,

Isaiah 55:9
"As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

So never limit God to your own understanding. Some things God can do without our full comprehension. This means nothing to my point directly, but just mentioned to try to open your mind up to God's ways! Don't exclude something just because you can't fully understand it!

God lives outside of time:
2 Peter 3:8
But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 17:24
"Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world
1 Peter 1:20
He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake

God also shows us two, distinct, different ways we are given salvation:
Ephesians 1:4-5
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love
he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will--
Ephesians 1:13
And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,
Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--
not by works, so that no one can boast.

God is not a liar, and is perfect, so everything he says must be true:
Matthew 5:48
Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect

With me so far......

I will pause so if you have any disagreement, I will give you time to state it before I go on.

God Bless,
Steve
