info for the thread; last week I suggested to a very senior official at TRAC that they add an ECN for the OTC's. This would be much more valuable than another ECN for the listed stocks, and would take advantage of the huge trading volume increase in the OTC market. He said they are checking into it to see if it's even possible,I have not received any feedback yet though. Needless to say, if they can and do an OTC ECN it would be a boon to the OTC market, and another nail in the coffin of the MM's. Expect heavy resistance from the MM's if the NASD will even allow it. :) IC
