Z. INTC research report today from MSDW mentions purchase by INTC of the Telecom Components Products division of Stanford. "This division possesses some of the key semiconductor building blocks required to participate in broadband cable and wireless markets. ...INTC should become more significant player in .... LMDS, and MMDS markets". Interesting indeed. Obviously NN/Standford, using INTC/Stanford silicon are up to some interesting projects, which NN will probably get first dibs on. Funny how I am still not sold on a takeover. A top flight management team would do the trick just fine IMHO.
