Interesting quandry. So many considerations re Q stock price/valuation and China. China news at or prior to CC and stock (then $150)back to $185+ level. Big Mo preserved. No "slump" remark at CC and stock would have only gone down to NASDAC correction/plus interest rate fear level. Then comes China news with Q at "slump" and correction level and...here we are. What now? Q ramps after interest rate hike because of China news or is China news now built in considering that earnings increase from China deal not till 2001? Or do momentum players come back in and drive price up right now based upon 2001 earnings and liklihood more news forthcoming that will increase earnings beyond expectations this year? Damned if I know. I'm only one generation removed from Southern white trailer-park trash so I'm not culturally or genetically equipped to make sophisticated market forecasts. All I really know for sure is how to patch screen doors, hide my cigarettes from my 16 year old step-mother under the washing machine on the front porch, put a car up on blocks in the back yard and beat the Hell out of my 12 year old sister for letting her kids play with my shotguns without permission.
