For the record, I have converted to a bearish stance on Dixon Ticonderoga (DXT) and I now rate the stock as a sell.

I do not feel that there will be an increased growth in the pencil market for these reasons:

1) People have found other things to pick their ears with
2) Yellow Pencils to not match modern office equipment color.
3) Most ceilings are made of drywall, not pressboard, therefore it is less fun to throw things at it.
4) The pencil market seems to have fallen out of favor with the large borkerage firms
5) Increased competition from finger paints and oversized crayons.
6) Contingent liability issues concerning poking one's own eye out.

Disclaimer: I could be just flat out wrong.
