Slider, still got your PGO? So, did they bag the Elephant today?

Why BSNX?

Hey, guys, why all the interest in Basin Exploration? I took a quick look and couldn't find anything really compelling relative to other super value plays in the patch (e.g., XTO). EPS estimates for 2000 seem to be running about a buck a share +/-. That puts the forward P/E ratio at around 11. Not bad, but no table-pounder either. Plus both working capital (i.e., CA - CL) and free cash flow (i.e., OCF - capex) for Q3 were negative at <$5MM> and <$25MM>, respectively. Granted, Q4 will be much better, given current commodity price levels, but the Q3 numbers can't simply be ignored. Finally, the chart doesn't present a very compelling story either.

What am I missing here? I'm sure there is a positive side to this story, but I can't see it yet. Hopefully you bulls will quickly enlighten me. :)

Thanks in advance.

I'm currently neutral on BSNX, but this discussion has piqued my curiosity.
