DJ Compaq Offers Two Rebates Through Microsoft, Diamond Rio -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Feb 11:59 HOUSTON (Dow Jones)--Compaq Computer Corp. (CPQ) and Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) are offering a promotion, through March 31, that allows customers to receive up to a $400 rebate. In a press release Wednesday, Compaq said customers who purchase a Compaq Presario or Prosignia desktop or notebook personal computer and sign up for Microsoft's Internet access service are eligible. Compaq and Diamond Rio are also offering a promotion, through March 31, that allows Presario and Prosignia customers to receive a $50 rebate when they buy a Diamond Rio 500 digital audio player. -Karen M.
