Volatility is the watch word, Cash is king..and a lot of cash is better than being world heavy weight champion - in cash. Cash is moveable, and you can always 'pick off' a good stock for swing trade and then go back to cash (i.e. ERTS) I picked up a mid cap fund from Waggoner yesterday and a telecommunications fund from Invesco, otherwise I'm also in 'cash' about 75% of my long term portfolio (husband's actually).. and 75% trading portfolio. I've only added LXK, SGP,EDS, NT (more).. I am and have been for the last 3-10 years overweighted in Israeli Technology stocks otherwise I don't keep a mutual fund or stock more than 3-8 months. 3 years is a lifetime for me. I don't believe any stock is immune from deep corrections (LGTO was a favorite for 5 quarters when it sank)
