Will the die size increase from PIII to Willamette (in a given process) be roughly similar to the K6-2 to Athlon transition?

(k6-2 was 81mm2 on .25 while Athlon was 184mm2 on the same process)

No!

Intel "released" 800MHz in December and Dell can't...

I have no idea if Intel will "release" Willy (TM Cirruslvr) or release it.

"Announcing" something that high (1.4GHz) means diddly squat to me. I guess I shouldn't have said I would believe it if Intel said it.
