Kasten Chase announces KTA MarketBook as ILX chooses Kasten Chase

TORONTO, Feb. 2 /CNW/ - Kasten Chase (TSE:KCA) announces the availability
of KTA MarketBook, a service providing access to the Toronto Stock Exchange's
(TSE) Market Book generated from the Toronto Broadcast Feed (TBF). MarketBook
is a KastenNet Trading Access (KTA) solution provided over KastenNet, a
secure, reliable and low cost access to TBF data via the STAMP protocol.
KTA MarketBook is a service providing TSE market inquiries including
dynamic display of Market by Order, Market by Price, and Market by Broker
generated from the TBF. It is delivered from the TSE-certified STAMP Gateway
developed by Integrated Transaction Systems (ITS). Subscribers to KTA
MarketBook can view the depth of market to enhance their trading decisions.
KTA MarketBook is offered as a discrete or bundled service on a monthly fee
basis to professional and non-professional traders over the KastenNet Managed
Network.
"Once we were aware of the TSE's plans to make more market depth data
publicly available through the TBF, and having researched a number of options,
we selected Kasten Chase to become our MarketBook provider," said Mike Kuley,
vice president of technology for ILX Canada. "Kasten Chase has proven
experience in providing quality Depth of Market and STAMP access products for
the Canadian trading community. Their delivery technology and integration
capabilities will provide a seamless integration of MarketBook into the ILX
Workstation."
"With MarketBook, Kasten Chase continues to provide applications designed
for the specific requirements of the Canadian financial community including
the non-professional trader," stated Barbara Howard, director of financial
sales at Kasten Chase. "As we announce the availability of our other KTA
offerings, it will become increasingly clear that Kasten Chase is providing a
well-rounded, full-featured service in KastenNet."
"MarketBook is part of the KastenNet service," added Dave Mulder, vice
president at Kasten Chase. "KastenNet is a managed network providing the
brokerage community access to a suite of trading and related services.
KastenNet, through VersaPath, provides the encryption, authentication,
centralized user management, automated backup and broadcast management
required for the secure availability of these services over intranet or
Internet."
MarketBook is part of a family of products and services that Kasten Chase
will be introducing for both professional and non-professional traders in the
months ahead. These include KastenNet Trading Access (KTA), KTA Order
Management System (OMS), KTA Analytical Workstation, and KTA Omni Manager.

Unfortunately, I agree with you. I don't know what these guys are doing. Either they are incompetent or John Carlesso is doing a lousy job. He lacks real enthusiasm for the stock which means one of 2 possibilities....nothing to get excited about or he is a loser! Why are the latest news items not picked up by press? John, where are your contacts? Ask Alain for help, that may work some magic. What happened to Trains and RASP. we were supposed to see part of springboard sold and a final deal with the latest NYCT contract. and what happened to rasp high level security approval and all those gvt. pilots. Get to work Paul Mike and John or get lost. You are blowing evey chance you had and fail to follow through with momentum.
