David, I think we should know very soon whether your decision to sell was a good one. Of course i will find out whether to buy back my trading shares was a good idea. I have to say that i am more confident on JDSU going forward. We only have about a 2 week window of uncertainty on this stock. I think we should rally big going into the shareholder approval for increasing shares on Feb 25. I realize it is a meaningless meeting since the outcome is known. However, i remember what happened the last time they approved the stock split---the stock took off even on that expected "news". Since the selling has been happening in January, I am starting to think that the ever improving market discounting mechanism may push us to new high before that date. Of course we could be in a selloff by then.<g> Getting so unpredictable if one is a short term trader. That is why I decided to just hold through this volatility. good luck.
