This topic has been covered so many times before. Why would I need to call Q IR? The patents have been spelled out in detail on the QCOM thread. Companies like ERICY have agreed to pay QCOM royalties on W-CDMA at the same rate as for IS-95. You can't do W-CDMA without Q IPR. It is as simple as that.
