Ah yes but you pick one day - what about the recent days when gold fell? Do you then talk of the dangers of hedging or the benefits of hedging - and of course if you think the stock is headed to $12.00 you talk of being optimistic. Optimistic if you have the guts to short - or optimistic if you simply wish ill on a company? So is all the vitriol about to start again? The anti- hedgers - in whose ranks I take it you dwell? were strangely silent when HM was falling off the board - talk of de-listing even (don't quite know where that came from) - but now after a day's rise we have you crowing!! I don't think NEM has been any great shakes recently. But then rationality can't be expected from those who like to have their cake and eat it too?

> The WHOLE WORLD knows about the dangers of hedging!

There is also a danger in selecting specific timeframes to "prove" various points.

I put a good 10 year comparison of ABX and NEM together, and ABX wins in 5 of the years, NEM in one, and the other 4 are pretty close.
