What speed do you think Willamette will run at, and will it embarass Merced?

Scumbria, your posts bring new meaning to the phrase, "thinking outside the box"! ;~)

SCUMbria - Re: "What speed do you think Willamette will run at, and will it embarass Merced?"

Hard to say.

I'd better wait until Q4/2000 or Q1/2001 for Willamette to tape out before I can answer that one.

Forget about Wilamette, CuMine could embarass Merced (except in FP of course).

Scumbria, <What speed do you think Willamette will run at, and will it embarass Merced?>

Embarass Merced in what way? It's almost no secret that Merced is not going to be a MHz speed demon. Whether Merced will need the MHz or not is another question, i.e. how fast must Merced run in order to be considered competitive against Willamette and Foster?
