<What is going to happen if Willamette is as great as rumor has it? What is going to happen if CuMine yields and frequency really do ramp as well as some are claiming? What is going to happen if Intel starts hitting on all cylinders and AMD starts screwing up again, just like the 20 year old pattern? What happens when Intel gets all this enormous capacity online and cranking out low cost processors? With current CuMines outperforming Athlons, what's going to happen when they are rolling out by the 10's of Millions? No SMP in sight!! Jackedup voltage in a desperate attempt to catch Intel in the frequency race! Dresden years in the making and still offline!! Unsold Athlon inventory! Poor chipset support! The bubble will not hold together forever guys. Intel has a big pin.>

elmer, elmer... wake up. It's your mother. Are you ok? You are moaning and drooling in your sleep.

Kap

In reality,
I think we should be talking about INTC's greatest fears as well. What is going to happen if Willamette is as poor and late as rumor has it? What is going to happen if CuMine yields and frequency really doesn't ramp as well as some are claiming? What is going to happen if AMD starts firing more cylinders and INTC starts screwing up again, just like the 20 year AMD old used to? What happens when Intel gets all this enormous capacity online and cranking out low cost processors nobody wants? With current CuMines barely keeping up with Athlons, what's going to happen when the Athlons are rolling out by the 10's of Millions? Little SMP in sight!! Jackedup voltage in a desperate attempt to catch AMD in the frequency race! Dresden years in the making and best x86 factory in the world!! Low or no Cumine inventory! Poor Rambus support! The bubble will not hold together forever guys. Intel has a big pin hitting its head.

Elmer Re <<Jackedup voltage in a desperate attempt to catch Intel in the frequency race!>>

You just keep getting more irrational. You simply are just posting garbage.

Hi Fudd:

What if? What if? What if? Same Intel song that's been sung since October...

You should concern yourself with what is! what is! what is!

And what is...is efficient production of Athlons resulting in low cost product for OEMs...

And what is...is inefficient PWeeIII production resulting in promises of a better day tomorrow for the OEMs...

And what is...is high cost of memory for the PWeeIII should it ever be produced in any quantity, with the end cost being hundreds of dollars more for a system that just can't keep pace with THE WORLD'S FASTEST MICROPROCESSOR...the "spry Athy!.

Don't you get tired of being Intel's whipping boy, Fudd?
