Strange as it may seem, the stock should get a pop from that approval by OCLI shareholders on Friday or Monday depending upon when the news release is made.

I heard the same thing - i.e. Feb 4th - however when I received my 8k form the other day from JDSU is stated that the "OCLI shareholder vote scheduled for February 25, 2000" (p. 23 mid page). So I don't know when the vote is now. My notice from OCLI stated Feb 4th. Q: I had originally heard from ETEK/JDSU press release that there was no collar on this deal (I cannot find the thread now to that press release). On the 8k report (p. 23 top of page) it discusses something about "average market share price" "based on a date range" that being "January 10 through January 17, 2000". Can anyone clear up this issue for me? Is there a collar or not? My emails to ETEK and JDSU have gone unanswered. Thanks in advance :-)
