Windsock, When is Linux or any other OS going to be "ready to ship" for the AMD 64 bit Sludge Hummer? If you're going to put it that way, probably never.

The answer will be something like..."Nobody needs more CPU bits than the current top-of-the-line of AMD's products". So....nobody needs 64 bits - or 64 bit software - right now. Of course, AMD may pull off a miracle and design a 64 bit Sludge Humper that only requires 32 bit software ! Paul
