Hello Ann. Cap.Gains taxes. I guess you got in touch with your accountant by now. I am not quite sure, but there may be this thing about declaring estimate taxes. I do it. Otherwise you can get hit with a penalty but it's probably cheaper that way than paying taxes in the beginning of the year.

Wow. What a NAZ today. Just got back in and checked my techs. Great.

Yes, I was a little surprised to hear the outcome in New Hampshire and now the polls in S.C. show a dead heat. Bush was ahead in the Rep.vote. McCain received the independent vote by something like 3 for 1.

I have nothing against Mr. McCain but it worries me to no end that the press gives him all the free press anyone could ever want for. Any idea why? I am pretty sure they would like McCain to be the REP candidate against a DEM. If that should happen, you wait and see how the press will go forward in this election. The press is laying really low on McCains problems with this Sav.&Loan stuff and the problem his wife had with the law over taking something like 40,000 worth of medication from an organization she was representing. She got community service for it. All this stuff is fairly new and happened while Mr. McCain was in the establishment of Wash. You don't think this will come up big time? Depending on how things go, let us talk about this again when the presidential race is in full force between the 2 party candidates. Bush already underwent all his ribbing about the alcohol and drug issue which was way back in time. Surprisingly very little comes up in Mr. McCains campaign. Again. For obvious reasons to me.

Mr. McCain claims to be anti establishment but he is a WASH. insider. Mr Bush has been a good Gov. and the way things went today in the bond market, we need a candidate that gives taxpayers some of their money back. There is plenty for that, Soc.Sec., schooling and medicare. I don't think McCain is too forthcoming on that issue against his opponent even though he surely knows all this. Sheesh. You can't watch TV anymore without McCain's face all over the tube. I would like for Mr. Bush to get those wonderful low ball questions from the press. I am a veteran. But being a war veteran or war prisoner does not make you a better candidate for President. Mr. Bush has a good record of bringing people together. The majority of the Senate is for Mr. Bush. Evidently the Senate does not think that Mr. McCain is the only qualified Republican to run for President. Maybe they know his temper. Not a good thing for a leader even so he laughs it off when asked about it. I would not be surprised to find out that some Dems funnel some money into the campaign of Mr. Bush's opponent. gg. Ok. McCain has been whining about getting on the primary in NY, which he probably can do soon but then he has no problem skipping Delaware. That's all.

LU did alright today. My WCOM is starting to get to me. Down on a day like today.

Um. Um. I am still on the old SI. Running out of time. I may call on you over the weekend if things go bust.

I was going to reply to the other messages. But this one got too long. I have a pretty bad cold and don't feel up to it right now.

Hello Ann. I ventured to the new SI. Any idea what I do with this create a new folder? Can we still go back to the first day this thread was established. It just says: Prev. 40 posts. Do we have to click on that every time until we get to day 1?

What is this trash stuff? Am I going to lose posts from prev. posters if I click trash bin? Uh. I don't like this new stuff. Are you on the new SI and how is it working? What is the most important thing that has to be done?

I guess I have to do this File box to save all the posts and the private messages?

Can you give me an overview on what you did?

Have all your bookmarks been passed through? What exactly does it mean? Only the threads that I bookmark will be passed on?

Sonny
