ETYS I bought some today @16ish. The stock has been driven way down. The company received some of the best reviews for sales and customer satisfaction this past x-mas. At these prices with a technical rebound in place it just seemed to good to pass up.

OK Dale here's some info that you were interested in regarding SSTI vs SMDK. At least it's a start.

OK SSTI actually makes the media. The media is the individual part that stores the the data
whatever the data is. It could be music, pictures, records or just junk.
It is analogous to a VCR tape or cassettes or the film in your camera
or the floppy disk for that matter but it stores much, much more data.

The web site was better for info. They make the media and have good partners.
The media seems to be Compact Flash which is supposed to be dying but has 50%
of the market. They also make this SuperFlash which I have never heard of.
They could be really good but would take more research.

SMDK doesn't make the media. They make what interfaces your computer to
the media, or what would interface your music player to
the media.

Hope this helps you out a bit. Helped me <ggg>

I'm not sure, to be honest, but
the revs were up 86%, the conference
was very upbeat, and they hinted at
an OEM agreement being negotiated and
a portal deal. The stock didn't
go in to the toilet, so I guess it
was good news. <gg>

See you in the am.
