Actually, in some cases it's going to last longer than I had dreamed ie. chipsets, DUMBBUST and lack of high speed floppermines in the channel. I'm totally in awe of how Intel has mucked up the floppermine launch. Just a small hurry caused by a fast Athlon really magnified things. Even more amazing is that Intels earnings held up...and they can probably hold them up again.

Now, if you would just tell me when Willy launches in volume, it would help a lot...<G>

I think Maxwell and Kevin put it best. AMD should be good for most of y2000 but Intel will win the end game. This coming from 2 ardent AMD fans. An exit strategy has to be in place for the end of this year until then....I'll hang tight with my AMD shares. And of course never sell my Intel shares!!!
