Goldman last week upgraded AMZN to Strong Buy with a Price Target of 95, ahead of the earnings. Hoping they increase this target tomorrow. Blodget of Merrill and Meeker of Morgan Stanley are more influential however.

Regarding profits, some analysts have gone on the record saying it would have been in fact "Wrong" for Amazon to have focused on profits until now, and not leveraged the tremendous business opportunites presented by a First Mover in this space. This analysis has also been expressed by the Motley Fools who have been long the stock for the past few years, at a cost basis of around $1 believe!

Don't get me wrong though, profits do matter, and we are getting to a point where Amazon needs to not spread itself too thin and start thinking about profits. Sounds like they are indeed doing that. The point is that until now they have been doing the right thing.
