Bill, the past is OVER. Get over it!

I guess you must have shorted REFR today while I was gone. Otherwise, why come tell us about irrelevant details from the past, before io got involved.

I suggest you call a few phone numbers in places like Japan and Korea and ask how many are rolling off the assembly lines as we speak and when it will be announced.

Let me be perfectly clear. You like to short the stock without knowing much about the prospects. I only like to buy stocks where I know the prospects. I did my homework. The future will not resemble the past. I can't provide specific dates, so you can not quote me as making a prophecy. But, I can see news very soon, probably my March and definitely within 61-12 months. And, from multiple sources.

I suggest that news can come out at any time. Shorting within a day can be dangerous since foreign news sources don't care about our trading hours. I would never hold a short overnight.

Repeat: Get over the past!

Thanks for the summary. Not a great track record, as you say. Question is, do the recent announcements mean something has changed or will we just get more of the same ?

Time will tell.

Bill,

I have tried to educate you and others as to the complexity of bringing out a new technology. It is not an easy task especially since several companies must commit to developing the infrastructure and to putting out the resources in personnel and equipment to make this happen.

Hankuk had a setback with the Asian financial crisis but is back up to speed. You would do yourself a favor if you would contact them so you could determine for yourself that their commitment to SPD products is stronger than ever and they have been working continuously throughout the last 18 month to bring this to fruition.

As for the early licensing agreements, I explained to you exactly what transpired. These agreements are all part of what has lead us here today. Never did RFI claim those licensees were ready to bring out products. Saxe has now said publicly there is a "strong possibility" we will see the products within the next 12-18 months. His prior statement that you compare to was his "hope" and not based on feedback from licensees working on commercialization. There were no licensees working on commercialization prior to 1997, now there are several and we have every reason to believe that products will be here soon. That is why REFR has risen 400% to all time new highs and will continue as the public sees what a tremendous play this is. No debt and the possibility of 100s of millions in revenues in the next few years. I think the long side of this will be the most rewarding in the long run.
