By replacing the simple bias statement with the statement of economic and inflation risks, they've at least lowered the ability of outsiders to spin the Fed statements.

Terry, Short term rates are going to go much higher with the Fed wimp out. Unless, of course, the govt. starts telling the truth about GDP. But that will happen only if a Republican wins in November. <g> The good news is, my Euro and Swissies are roaring back on the Caspar Milquetoast move.
