Well the Franco boys will have to spruce up their shares soon ,as I noticed them down another 2.50 C. today ,that is the lowest I have ever seen seen them.All the resource stocks are slipping onto the dumpers again

Yes, they'll look out for themselves. No question about that.

I don't want to sound conspiritorial but, if FN handed out any big fat brown envelopes in Ottawa before Diavik is rumored to have done, and given FN's Ottawa and Quebec connections, then the fix is already in on the permits. Delaying the permits and the project for another year would likely allow FN the opportunity to make a takeover of Aber on terms favorable to FN. FN has a huge pile of cash burning a hole in their pockets and where else could such a large resource investment be made today? Providing assistance to their good friends and party faithful is why Federal Liberals get elected isn't it:-)).
