Robert, You said, "That is utterly ridiculous Steve, and that line of thinking is of your " flesh " and certainly not the Spirit of God. I publicly declare that you are wrong in light of the Word of God and all these scriptures you list have nothing to do with the question I asked you ." Take it easy! You have totally misjudged my post and misrepresented me. Robert, reflect upon this statement and see if it was proper! Did you miss this in my post, "I will pause so if you have any disagreement, I will give you time to state it before I go on." I wanted to pause, so that, I limit my post to an amount of information that is easy to digest in one post. I, myself like short posts, rather than long ones. Maybe that is presumptious of me to think everyone does. But I do better paying attention, and have better absorption with shorter ones. I'm sorry if you do not agree with that. But I will get to my point if you could have patience..... I clearly stated that I was to go only after I had agreement from you to go on. In other words, I wanted to take it slow and make sure you agreed with me so far. This way, we limit the disagreement later on, or at the end of our study! Hence, you said, "The verses you quoted speak of the Divine character of God to which I agree wholeheartedly. " So you agree to all the scriptural content and context I presented so far, right? That is: 1. God lives outside of time: 2. God also shows us two, distinct, different ways we are given salvation: 3. God is not a liar, and is perfect, so everything he says must be true: Please take it easy. It gets hard to explore scripture when you have so little patience. You have to read all of my whole post so you limit your misunderstandings! God Bless, Steve PS - I do not have to study this with you if you refuse to show patience. I could have easily said to shorten this up, "Show me in scripture where my point is not true?" instead of proving to you, as you said, "Where in scripture did you ever come up with such an idea?" If you would just like to answer where it shows you in scripture that I am incorrect, I can go with that to! It will save me time, energy and having to put up with any attitudes.
