just a slip in my opinion. After they had told the analyst they were happy with 2000 projections, I think they felt no harm could be done in speaking about some tiny shortage. Your enemies are always lying in wait, and on top of that, if we had not gotten the China news, I feel we would still be getting our teeth kicked in!

alias, perhaps the choice of words by Q ("slump") was bad, but I see this as a very positive event in the long term. Q is managing market expectations and PR beautifully. Analysts and we individuals are gaining trust in the conservative guidance that Q is giving consistently.

They will be trusted as well as CSCO, I believe.
