Carl - are you drunk or sleepy - are saying that when one investor sells out takes a loss someone else buys the stock and it goes up the new owner should feel guilty because of his investment success and the other persons lack of investment success - you are bit flawed in your thinking in this also - SDR

Carl, you write as though I've never been screwed before in the stock market.

OK, let's do a reality check.

Has anyone ever lost money on a stock investment?
Has anyone ever made money on a stock investment?

OK, now that we've got that clear, here's a story for you. And it's sorta similar to the EDIG story, and your acquaintance who once owned 25,000 shares of EDIG. By the way, when you were having lunch with her, did she happen to inform you that she wished she held those shares today? Hmmm. I thought so.

Meanwhile, here's the story:

I invested in Lightpath Technologies in 1997. At the time it was the only company on earth that could bend light off of flat surfaces. Way, way ahead of its time. Well, I struggled with that company at very low prices since then until now.

Check out the price of LPTHA today. Why did AT&T invest into its LightChip subsidiary? Why did Morgan Stanley just put big bucks into it? Was it because it was a bad idea in 1997? Check out the price of most fiberoptic stocks.

What your buddy Elwood is doing seems, to me, very similar to the Lightpath story. However, like I suffered and struggled for so long with Lightpath, it seems others have done most of the struggle and suffering with EDIG. I was lucky, coming in at the two-dollar mark and incrementally buying more as it rose.

Frankly, Carl, I like where I'm at. And you know what? Indeed, I have a clean conscience and it's one far cleaner than those consciences held by the basher ranks whose posts, whether knowingly or not, you seem to support.

Oh my god, you're boooorrriiinnnnggggg. There, I called you something. Feel better about making me resort to that? Great! Now you're fulfilled as a person and can get on with your life.

All has been asked, answered, asked again, answered again, asked one more time, answered with even more evidence, ad nauseam. You've finally bored me into my first SI ignore.

I submit that anyone who has to continually promote their humility is literally an oxymoron in process.

Your commentary about how investors who buy low and sell high in some fashion screw others is a most simplistic view of the investing process. It would seem that most individuals who truly understand what they are doing in their investing strategies have no cause to be guilt ridden.

When James Claspill said the 'hate you are filled with about Woody and eDig' caused you to miss out on an opportunity, he probably hit the nail on the head. I can only surmise that beneath that veneer of proclaimed humility is a very angry, envious, contemptuous, arrogant, and self-righteous human being.

Whatever you do or don't do in your investing world is of little interest to posters. Most here are perceptive enough to look beyond the stories and skewed views you present. You missed it before, and you'll miss it again.

CARL IS HUMILITY?--NOT
