dclapp I suspect the main thing Bezos is up to is to tell analysts and investors what they want to hear, so that the stock price would stop freefalling, so that he can secure the next round of bonds for the money he needs to stay afloat. He now understands that the "we don't care about profits" line is not going to work anymore, so now he's changed his tune, that's all. I think it's crazy to think amzn will be profitable in a yr or two. Victor
