My understanding is that you need two NIC cards in one computer if you only have one IP address - that computer needs to be the server, and it needs two NIC cards. RoadRunner in Fairfax, VA won't let you have more than one IP address, so I am working on networking my home computersm but making no progress, so maybe I shouldn't say anything, I am just repeating what I've read. At least RoadRunner Fairfax doesn't mind networking, it just won't help.
