But will DRDRAM prices be much lower also? Maybe Intel will have a DDR capable chipset also. We'll eventually find out.

Will Intel remain commited to the company whose product they have invested hundreds of millions in or will they go with the better cost/performance choice.

I would say good luck, but I'd prefer Kash's choice to win. ;) 2000 should be more eventful than '99.
