I'm looking at the Matrox G400 Dual Head 32Mb AGP card but am wondering where I would get 2 additional Matrox
PCI video cards

Sue, the G400 should be a nice card for 2 monitors. A dual PCI would be spendy. I'm sure there are some out there. Two single PCIs should work. They do not have to be same Mfg. I have an 8MB ATI AGP in Server and 4MB Diamond in PCI. They work beautiful together. The PCI was on special for $24.95, with a $30 coupon one weekend on Buy.com when free shipping
was available. :) A quick way would be go to pricewatch.com and search Matrox, Diamond, ATI and some of the others. I don't know all of them. ( I think Diamond's web page is, diamondmm.com). Think it was spots that had problems with diamond cards.

Regarding NICs. Generally we speak of NICs to create a network between our computers in home or office. Very confusing to call a Modem Card, either Cable or Dial Up, a NIC card. It's not a network card, rather a Internet card.
If you are connected to Internet then you need 1 NIC to connect to the other computer, plus a NIC in second computer. Direct to 1 other computer use a crossover cable, more than 2 computers use a Hub with Cat 5 cables. (telephone w/RJ45 connectors). I hope i'm not too confusing <g>

Which other manufacturer has a dual head card and PCI video cards as well?

Sue, I don't think there would be a problem obtaining PCI Video cards, single. Dual I'm not sure. Several here. The ATI Expert 8MB $48.00 I'm sure are good cards. Lots of 2MB for less money.

teamexcess.com, Matrox, PCI, 4MB, 45$.
