You are so right about the early holders of great companies believing they must diversify, or not believing it could go much higher. I learned that lesson with MSFT, it was the first stock I ever bought..that was in '88. Over the years it served me soooo well, but I used funds to buy a house, I diversified...etc. I retrospect, what a terrible decision, I certainly don't beat myself up over it, but I learned the lesson. I still have a portion of those shares. Cost basis? 62 cents. LTB&H and gorillas are an increadably powerful combo.
