My first of many purchases was in early Jan., 1999... so a little over a year, and thanks to many hours of research and alot of great info from much more experienced and knowledgeable investors than myself, it feels like a little longer.

Greg, John M. won't say this about himself, but he is the well-respected chief here on the SI GMGC board for some time. Read his posts for lots of good research.

I think John has a big stack of certificates too, so keep that in mind.
