Pat,

Thanks, but I simply don't have the time to devote to it, without having a financial interest. Worse yet, if I did buy back into ANCR, I would be asking these types of questions during the conference calls, and everyone would try to lynch me. <g>

Seriously, I do enjoy the debate, and I truly hope that Ancor has the answers. Based on comments from MTI and Sun, it appears as if they do.

Hopefully, my posts here have shown what in-depth analysis is like, especially when compared to the posts of late. (George D. and some of the other regulars excepted.) The reason people sell in a panic is because they grow uncomfortable with their investment. (In many cases due to a lack of concrete facts.) That's why the shorts win sometimes. It seems to me that having good answers to my questions would give investors additional confidence going forward. (Answers like, "The tests were rigged!", "There are no 800-pound gorilla's out there!", "ANCR's going to 100!", "You must be a short!", etc. don't count. <g>)

One final thought. Sun is so critical to Ancor's success. Sun gives Ancor their best chance at becoming a gorilla in their own right. If Sun/Ancor can develop something that everyone else wants, it will force Brocade to the interoperability table in an instant. Brocade will be FORCED to follow Ancor, not the other way around. That will signify a MAJOR change in the Fibre Channel switch market.

Craig
