Many thanks Greg... You have written about this broker from whom you learned. You were lucky to gain his wisdom and perspective. I think I mentioned to you that I got into the mkt just over 3 yrs back. In that time, the mother lode of my investing education has been SI. It's a hell of a school. If it weren't for folks like you, the V men (Venkie and Vendit included), Sig, Mohan, Chuzzlewit, Rocket Man, etc. ad infinitum...I'd probably have gotten washed out of this market w/in my first year or two. I know long-term the trend is up. I read what you wrote the other day about looking at this like a game. That makes so much sense to me. I really plan to stop swinging for the fence every time at bat and extend my horizon. That said...my portfolio has gone up ~ 11X since I started. I thank Dell, AOL, the Q but most importantly all the contributors on SI. -Darin
