Jubak is the main columist for Microsoft MSN network financial pages. He has a good reputation and a following. He does his DD and is one of the better journalist type gurus. H corresponded with me about a year ago about COMPAQ (when I was a COMPAQ long) after reading this board. In retrospect he has been right and I have been wrong. His recent article is kinder in tone to COMPAQ - originally he thought COMPAQ fiddled the books too much especially over the question of inventory - and he thought they could not be trusted. He still thinks they cannot be trusted but for different reasons. This time he doubts their ability to perform although concedes they might.
